Prison Run
Noderunners & Bitcoin Runners join forces to raise funds and awareness to Free Samurai. Join us for a social run and walk starting and finishing at the Koepelgevangenis Prison to raise awareness and funds for the cause.

Route
Both groups set off together from the prison gates, along Utrechtsestraat and the Onderlangs path to the Nederrijn, where the Rijnkade quay begins at Roermondsplein.
Runners (≈ 5.0 km) — the official track: the full Rijnkade east along the river to the John Frost Bridge (“A Bridge Too Far”), up at Airborneplein, then through the old town past the Eusebius church and the Korenmarkt — GPS track on Strava route.
Walkers (≈ 3.5 km) — the same riverside route, then up Turfstraat past the Eusebius church, rejoining the runners’ track through the old town to the finish.
Everyone finishes at Proeflokaal De Hoppenaar (Zwanenstraat 4) for social drinks.
Pavement and riverside promenade; roads are crossed only at proper crossings (Utrechtsestraat, Roermondsplein, Airborneplein). Social pace, nobody gets left behind.
What to bring
Road running shoes, comfortable workout clothes, and a smile!
We finish at Proeflokaal De Hoppenaar and grab refreshments for those able to stay 🍻
